We get the chance to do some showraces at the biggest monsterjam show in europe.
it was in goteborg under the hottest sun ever,
we was 14 riders who raced some close speedway around the ullevi stadium.
it was a real blast to see the monstertrucks do the freestyle at the big arena, they was really puschung it to the limit.
so i wish everybody a soft, nice, warm and happy summer and keep the rubber in the air...

long time, real long time no seen.
has not been to mush action during the wintet and spring.
five polaris outlaw 525 (ktm) arrived a couple of month to early and one of them ended upp in my workshop, panic, panic !!
need some goodies part quick it need to be fast for the race at "Engans Wintershow" in gavle 31/3.
as always in motorsport it`s all in the last minute, it was all put together at the day before the race, loud up the buss and put the aim on gavle.
must say that ther is some nice power in the new outlaw 525, took the win i all qualification heat and in the grand finale, the top of the podium feel as good as always.

As every year at the swedish championship for sidecars in sodertalje we race as a support class, but this year we was 29 quads on the grind compare to 12 in side car.i get a good start in tje first heat and was in the top 3, took the lead on the second lap and held it all the way to the finnish in heat 1.
in the second heat i was in the top again an was in the lead out on the second lap, i got a good gap to the second guy but when it was 15 minutes left of the heat i got a flat tyre on my left rear, i tought it never going to hold to the finnish, but i did i took the second place in heat 2 ad the all over win for the day.
we was 3 polaris outlaw in the top 5, i can only say that the machine can do some nice moves.

there some news from Polaris for the smallest kids, the Polaris Predator 50cc is now for 2007 fourstroke, i have one in my workshop and you can see it in Polaris exubisiontent at the mx granprix in uddevalla next weekend together with my outlaw 525 and my race predator.

2007-01-16

well it`s a new year and the strt of it could had been better, crach big 30 dec on the frosen landing.
tangle up my legs in the handlebar and landed whti full steering, rolled over and the quad hit me with the rear tyre
on the back of my left upper leg, so you can see the mark of a douglas beedlook rim :o)
the compound "slingland" is groving all the time, we have now 8 ramps infront of 3 landings, the inrun has become wider and we also have a small dirtdubble.
my leg is now healed up pretty good and i hope to be back jumping the upcomming weekend if the weather let me!
next week is the motorcycle exhibition 25-28 january and i will be in the polaris area, with somk luck we find some space for my predator that had get a new shiny dress and som bling bling for 2007.
so take a pitstop at polaris and talk about quads and atv, freestyle or 4x4

A MERRY MERRY CRISTMAS

we had a workday at slingland last saturday, i borrowed a big louder from my sponsor "nyströms cement".
we built a new landing for minifmx there and put willis new ramp.
we also made the inrun wider, we also built a new dirt doubble then rikard "spanarn" gerdlov put some time in the louder and did the big quadlanding steaper.
at sunday the temperature was below 0 and the groud was frosen and hard, the sun was also on our side.
rikard rättö mxratto had spent the weekend before in norway practising flips in a foampit, and now he want to try it out on dirt.
he was working his butt of the on saturday to set the ramp up with big precision, the flip diden`t go his way.
he under rotated little and get a little sideway and crashed.
he didden`t broke anyting but it was one sour rättö that leaved slingland that day.
olle olsson had some problems in his shoulder and to much pain to jump the quad this weekend.
wille worked in a nice feeling in the new ramp an did some good locking moves before the day was over.
we have now 7 ramps in place and room for some more, i will put my trailer ramp in front of the minilandning so raffe "i run over myself" can make a comeback for 2007 :o)
the santa in this case polaris scandinavia sent me a nice present.
a brand new sportsman 800 delux, thats really someting i can`t be without.
so if you have plans to get yourself an atv, go for the best!! go for polaris!!

had a couple of good weekends with a lot of riding.
the guys from grimborg production was wisiting my place and shot some film for "ready to roll" that`s have it`s relese in the end of this year.

this weekend olle olsson make a visit at my place, good weather, great jumping and i think he fell in love im my new radius 8 ramp, he jumped almost 20 meters (60 feet) on that one, he also pushed me to do a couple of new trick..
there`s still some steem in the old man..
wille, erik and jarno was on the go with the cameras.
this upcomming weekend we going to do some rebuilt at the place and put another ramp in place.
then we pray for a big sun on the sky and a lot of riding.
olle is going to do his training with me at my place most of this winter, so next time i do a update it`s snow on the ground and studs in the tyres..big smile

A great weekend full of joy.
A big thanks goes to nyströms cement who lent us a big louder so we could rebuilt our park.
Rikard "spanarn" gerdlöv did a great job with the louder and made the big landing twice as wide and add a minilanding on the side.
sunday the crew was in place for riding.
me and raffe juping quads, spanarn, willeand jarno on pitbikes.
spanarn had a photosession for psyco pitbikes and i think it turned out real good.
willes bike broke down so he shot nice pics with his new camera.
we all had a real nice day in the sun and i has started to work on some new tricks.
it`s good to be back home again after traveling every weekend in september.
jojja and i had a great time in spain with alberto and his girlfriend watching the redbull x-figher.
theweekend after i had a photosession with atv & terrängmagazinet, look it up in the next issue.
after that we went down to reygades in france for the polaris camp, and it hassen`t rain that much in over 20 years,
so no jumping in france.
the last weekend did we spent in åre with all the guys from polaris scandinavia and a couple of guys from polaris usa.
i did 4 shows during the weekend and it was my first time to land on a metallanding, it worked well, but i like dirt better.... :o)

it`s been a real nice summer and i haven`t been jumping so much.
i took a time out in june and july from jumping, i ride some quadmx and mini mx
insted.
it was good with some time off to find some new inspeation.
i did a show at edgegames with olle olsson and it a blast, real fun!
i also did some streetriding i a musicvideo for petter www.petter.nu
it`t for the song "eller" from his latest album "p"
i was hammering the quad in the middle of stockholm with a kind of frogmask on my head, it was real cool and it turn out pretty well.
i took the win at a quadmx race in arvika
and it was a great track and perfect conditions.
now in september i booked up.
6 th sep i doing a show at forsgolf track
during a crazy golf event.
13 th jojja and i fly down to our friend alberto in madrid and we are going to the big bullfighting arena plasa del toro to se redbull x-fighter.
we are really looking forward to that.
to bad that my big idols mike metzger and ailo gaup not going to be there, but we will be chering on the swede fredrik "fredd" johansson and i`m bet my quad that he has some new trix in his sleves that we gonna se.
the weekend after i`m going to be in france and do a show at polaris camp.
a big event for all polaris dealers in france.
and in the end of september i jumping high at the big skiresort åre up north in sweden.

This spring has it been a lot of jumping.
Me and pallten has hit the ramps every weekend and the progress has been nice.
There is also one more guy who has starts to jump with quads, former sledrider Olle Olsson from gavle and he`s going real big!
so for a couple of weeks ago we was 3 on the ramp, what a blast!!
but right now is it just me that`s not injuryed, pallten has a bad knee and olle broke his nose when he overshoot a
jump, but they are back soon i hope.
this weekend i did a show in ludvika at a streetcar race and it worked out well with sun and a good crowd.
my girlfriends son Thimmy has started to ride quads at the age of 4 and the progress is quick lie hell, my plan was to put spacers on his little 50`s but it ran away and i added a fatbar, shawed fenders, new silncer, uni airfilter and some custom made nerfbars...
it`s like always, can`t let it be!! :o)

please, give us some summer now!
i`m tierd of freezing my butt of now!
finally, finally i`m not alone hitting ramps with quads here in sweden.
THERE`S A NEW KID ON THE BLOCK!!
teddan "pallten" lindèn has get a ltz400
he starts to hit the ramp on a small gap after only a day riding the quad and he will be jumping 45-50 feet soon i`m sure.
he has allready a bag of trix.
his mainting is pitbike racing and he is a factoryrider for pitpro racing team.
for me it`s real fun to coach this guy that is only 16 years old.
we are practise together all te time now and i haven`t had so fun since i was in us and ride with akriax.

i have start to use my -06 predator and she`s a sweet one on the ramp, the suspension is made for bigjumps.
we got some shows comming up and i get back when the dates are nailed.
grimborg production has aksed me if i want to have a segment in theres next dvd Ruff Riders 2, so we are starting to filming during the spring.
team Rosling Racing is getting bigger this year, so this year i will be race mx on a predator 500 and my gilfriend Jojja can you also see on a predator 500 and my son nicklas is still racing on his honda 400ex...later//sling

home again after a week in tignes (france)
i was doing a freestyle show at the tignes airwaves week with the snowmobilerider martin ingvarsson from malung (sweden) and on dirtbikes was andre villa (spain), manu troux (france),
danny torres (spain), chris brook (england) and daisuke suzuki from japan.
it was a cool show that was cordinated by the guys that put together red bull x-figther in madrid.
me and jojja got invited to do a snowmobile safari over the alps one morning and it was great and i tried a snow hauk for the first time.
we was at 2100 meters hight so i loose about 10% power in my quad, but it work out good.

last weekend we did a "quadwars" at the monster jam show in the globearena infront of over 40 000 people.
me and nic granlund (las vegas) has been planing this since spring and i put together 10 riders, and now after i know i pic the right guys, you all did a great job and clear channel was happy and hopefully we can do it again next year.
a BIG thanks to all the riders! nic, lina, raffe, anders, mathias, jojja, johan, jens, patrik and also a big thanks to johan for his help in the pit.
finnaly i`m not alone to hit ramps with quads any more, wille did his first jump this weekend, it was only a 20 foots gap, but it looks good.
he has doing good jumping dirtbikes before so i think he`s gonna make some progress on the quad.
we looking forward to a winter with a lot of quad freestyle..

yeh, yeh! i know it`s been a long time since my last update. it`s as simple as my friend who is uploading the pics has been out of internet and i dont want to write news without pics. as for me my arm is ok and working fine, i`m back jumping quads,i took the overall win in the swedish cup for mx. the main ting this autum has been pitbike riding. there been a lot of videoshoots for an upcomming movie "5TI SPÄNN" and it is real wild riding with a lot of crashing and big ramp jumping. finally it`s look like like there comming more people into quadfmx, my friend wille has trade his dirtbike into a quad and going to start practice on the ramps. i`m gonna keep you guys updated with his jumping, i think it`s gonna be some wild jumps.

last week was i for the first time out on a mx track and it went well for about 7 laps, then my arm was sore.
this weekend we had race number 5 of 6 in our swedish cup (elektrokyl cup) and i have a lead with only 3 points so i had to do the race to collect some points.
over all my expertations i won the first heat and got second i the other heat.
anders andersson on a predator took the win so we had two polaris on the podium.
i`m now in the lead with 4 points and must bee in the top 4 in the final the 24th september.
gert-ove from atv & terrängmagasinet put a little blata 40cc quad infront of my predator and i took it for a ride and he snap some wheelie shot.
number 3 on the gas gas i my father in law raffe that i past on the inside in the second heat, i`m glad i did a smooth pas without rubbing for the familly happiness later//jesper

it`s been almost 6 weeks since i crashed
and broke my upperarm.
i was in france for two weeks ago and did a show and canceled another becourse
my arm was sour after the first show.
but i had a good time at the pdv race and get to meet up with TEAM POLARIS FRANCE.

they wanted me to do the race on one of there quads, but i had to turn them down
becourse of my injury.
i have been doing a lot of freeriding and trackriding with my girlfriend and she`s getting faster and faster.
probebly she enter some race next year.
i have also get my pred an AXlook with a red front and black rearfender.
it has also a hot ax graffic kit on now.
i gonna do a x-ray 12th september and hopefully i can start jumping and racing after that.
next time i gonna post fresh pics of me up in the air.. later//jesper

i was back home in sweden from us a week ago.
i had a real good time in us with the guys from akriax, a lot of riding, fixing quads, building a kicker ramp and did 2 shows.
we was 8 rider during the shows in redwood falls and everybody ripping it out.
the one who wants to know about the time i had in minnesota (us) can read it in the 3 comming numbers of atv&terrängmagasinet, there i tell about all the fun i had.
i was back in sweden july 14 and july 16 i was at my compound practising.
i fall of my quad in a landing and hit the groung with my shoulder.
i know directly somting was wrong and on the xray at the hospital could they see that my shoulder was dislocated and my upperarm broken in 3 pieces.
i get surgery that evening and they put me together with 8 titanbolts.
but it has feelt real good after and i shall with some luck be back riding in 3-4 weeks.
i am aiming to do my shows at 12h pdv in france august20-21, but i miss edgegames and that sucks bigtime!!
but i will be there and i hope you be there to becourse it gonna be a real good show.

i have alot of real good news today.
on saturday i am doing a show at a cityfestival in gullspång.
we stay in gullspång over the night and on sunday race number 3 is in töreboda.
last sunday i recived a mail from my pal garret engelstad in usa.
he invited me to minnesota and letting me stay with him and all the guys from the akriax crew.
i fly to us june 25th and stay until 13 july.
we are going to hit ramps and at the 7th july we are doing a big show in redwood falls.
i have been in contact with polaris in us to see if they can lent me a predator to use during the time in us.
so all people that are wisiting my site, whish me luck in the big country in west, becourse i going to do freestyle on quads with the best in the world!!

i have been doing a couple of shows.
the last one was at a hillclimb race in stockholm.
people tell me that i am crazy doing freestyle on a quad, but the guys that are into hillclimb, shit!
almost every time they races the bike it ended with a big crasch, i am only crasches a couple of time a year.
but it was a great wiew of stockholm at the top of the hill.
we have also finnish the first shooting of film for x-factor an we had a crain at the compound.
jimmy got some cool photos from the basket.

Thursday i was nailing bouth SSG and SG INDY.
So now is the target set on hart attack.
i have also built a new ramp that is mobile that i going to bring with me to all the shows i am doing under the summer.
I get it finnish at 01.00 friday night.
friday did my female tattoexpert the flames on my left arm done so now can we start doing some cool stuff on my right leg. I become adicted to her nedles and ink.
Jimmy get some nice photos when we where jumping ramps saturdayafternoon.

Sunday i was in gullspang for the second race in the cup.
I was finnish second in bouth heat and are now in the lead totally.

On sunday i am doing a show at the supermoto race on ticksta, and i am planing to use the new ramp so i hope the guys at farent is getting some powdercoat on it so i can do some testjump on it before sunday

it`s has been a lot of quading this weekend.
saturday i started jumping 08.00 in the morning for a filmteam from extreme media production.
they are doing a shortfilm for me and my sponsors and i looking forward to see it.
they get some real nice shoot from the crain that we had at the compound that day.
at the evening i loaded my new tuned tdl pred in my van and we started at 04.30 to drive to the first race for the sesong in falköping.
we started up the race pred wendsday so i have only drive it for 30 minutes.
the race went well, get 3rd in the first heat and second in the other.
rather good for racing a track i never been on before and a brand new quad.
think it`s going to be a great summer of racing and jumping.
i`m probebly going to france in august and doing 3 fqx shows at the 12 houers pdv. www.pdvracing.com
the next show is on rm in supermoto at ticksta 15 may and after that i will do a show at the ullna hillclimb.

sunny weekend with a lot of jumping!
we have a new adept in our little crew.
willie on a 125cc dirtbike he is jumping a small gap and making progress.
he has a nice attitude for fmx and i think he can be cool jumper with some practise, he came down hard on the frontwheel yesterday and crasched real hard (check out a crasch sequense at my gallery!)and ended with his bike up side down on his back.
we put up a kicker ramp to our compound and my pal anders also crasched hard on the first try, but after that he get some nice air...later//jesper

yeeh!! finaly the spring is here, byt there is to mutch snow that is melting to fast so there is a lot of water evrywere.

but i have do a lot of jumping the last days and worked at the compound early morning and late nights to keep the water away, last night we pumped away a lot of water of the inrun.

i feel real safe on the ramp and are working with sevral new trix.
i am jumping 15 may at a supermoto race for quads and solobikes at ticksta (norrtelje)

hi everybody out there!
i have many visitors from usa on my site so i am gonna take my schoolenglish and do as best as i can so everybody will understand.

we have still a lot of snow but this weekend the sun has been on the sky all days long.
me and my friend anders has been jumping a lot, haven`t been mutch jumping the last couple of weeks becouse there`s been snowstorm weather.
so it feels real good to hit the ramps again.
next weekend is it easter and some days of for work and it`s gonna be warm weather this week so i hope the snow melting away.
i am eager to take of my icetiers.

we are gonna start shooting for the film "the quadfather" that`s gonna be releast by x-factor video in the end of this year.

i have got a new friend over in usa.

I helgen har det varit åkbart i jämnförelse mot förra helgen.

Jag har en stor snöhög liggandes utanför mitt garage och en kväll i veckan va jag ute och shapade den med spade och riggade upp min 5ti ramp framför den.

Snön är ju mjuk och fin så här fanns det läge att prova flippa med lillmoppen.

Det är i särklass det absolut svåraste jag försökt att göra med motorcykel i hela mitt liv, en fet spärr i skallen säger att man inte ska hänga upp och ner med en hoj ovanför sej.

Efter åtskilliga försök och lika många framgrävningar av moppen så pös vi iväg och hoppade quad i gropen istället.
Väl hemma igen då vi satt och lapade kaffe slog mej tanken att prova 360
istället och det gick ju bättre än flippen.

Kom runt lite över 200 grader, men besvärades av en för smal ramp som hela tiden ville tippa omkull, men gud så kul vi hade och visst kan det va kul med snö men det får gärna bli vår nu...//jesper

SNÖN FALLER OCH VI MED DEN!
Anders och jag gav oss fan på att vi skulle hoppa i helgen.
Jag skottade snö hela fredagseftermiddan
och på lördagen fans inte ett spår av min skottning kvar, vi skottade igen och monterade upp en ramp och skottade igen och igen och snön föll, flingor stora som pingisbollar och vi skottade och saltade.

Vi tog till slut vårt förnuft tillfånga och sa att vi hoppar på söndag istället.
söndagen va en repris av lördagen va det gäller nederbörd , men en snabb skottning som uppvärmning och sedan på det fort som bara den innan det hann snöa igen på ansatsen.
Vi hann väl med en 10 hopp sen hade det hunnit kommit ett par centimeter snö och det började bli halt på ramperna och jag fick lite slir i ett hopp och caseade landningen rätt rejält så we call it a day och la ner vår verksamhet och sa "bättre 10 hopp än inga alls"
ja ja, vi har iallafall fått oss nåra skapliga pass i form av snöskottning.
av nån anledning så har vi pratat väldigt mycket om spanien i helgen.. hmm :o)

Det har varit en hopp och åkfri helg och den mesta tiden har jag tillbringat i verkstan.

Jag har pillat en del på min predator som jag ska rasta runt på crossbanorna i sommar, dom sista prylarna från usa trillade in i förra veckan.

Min predator som jag hoppar ramp med har fått nya "sommarkläder" i form av ett nytt svart plastkit med glitter i.

Skärmarna har täljts ner så dom klassas nog som stringmodell, en vill ju inte ha en massa skärmar att fastna i och det är ju mer hårdrock utan.

Thimmy snart 3 år har torrgasat på sin lilla 5ti och övat in en del trix, kan han bara få till det där 8meter upp i luften så har jag nog en konkurrent...

Då va Vilhelmina big jump jam över för i år och det va en fin dag med sol och närmare 4000 i publik.

Jag körde en uppvisning mellan kval och final i big jump tävlingen och det gick kanonbra tills ca 10:e hoppet då jag provade ett nytt trick.

Pillar man lite med foten på växelspaken då man trycker från i rampen så får man i friläge och man planterar quaden som ett jordspätt i landningen.

Nog tog det stumt, men en får va glad att det va en snölandning så det dämpade lite iallafall.

Loss med quaden och på det igen!
Skulle tro att man är på någras läppar idag!

Öystein Kjörstad vann big jump tävlingen med stilrena trick och tre flippar varav en nofooterflip.

Finnländaren Jussi Seljas va en glad 2:a då han på morgonen satte sin första flip och klämde till med sin andra i finalen.

Ja, då va mässyran över för i år, har trampat mässgolv i dagarna 4 och träffat många gamla och nya bekanta.

Första helgen på hur länge som hellst som jag inte hoppade så nu längtas det till helg!!
